Bootcamp day #3

My body hurts. Everything from my muscles to my jaw to my hair. Yes, my hair hurts.

While I definitely agree with Greentheo’s work-out philosophy, my life contradicts it this week.

My husband and I signed up to do a bootcamp for four days a week, for four weeks. We thought it would be a good way to jump-start us into working out in the morning. It has done that.

And after going for three straight days, I can barely walk. My arms are permanently bent, because the elbows are too sore to be straight. My hips are so tight I have to shuffle around, taking tiny steps. And when I take turns on the road, my Civic acts like a semi-truck because I can’t pump my arms fast enough to turn the steering wheel.

The worst part is that when I asked a fellow bootcamper if she was sore, she said, “Yeah, my triceps are a little tight.” Oh, geez. It’s going to be a long month.

:-) my green workout plan could also be relabled “Greentheo’s guide to a ‘let’s not be overachievers shall we?’ workout” .
