Where I’ve been.

I haven’t been blogging, that’s for sure. Here are the top 10 things that have bogged me down, blogged me not.

10. Facebook, which is nothing new. Except no longer my portal for cyber-stalking, I now use facebook to revenge my nemesis. The ho-bag who tells me my verbal skills are that of a mime on the word challenge game.

9. Work. My new job keeps me busy, not in the way that speeds up my creative juices. More like sops them up with a sponge that sits out and grows mildew.

8. Speaking of mildew, our new house doesn’t have it. But the house does sit on my to-do list — tasks like organize study, give away pile of clothes in guest room, do laundry — which haunts me if I consider opening up the laptop or watching TV.

7. But that’s no reason to taper off my TV schedule. My husband loves electronics and everything that comes with having a super-nice, non-fatty-Walmart TV. And I reap all the benefits. Right now, that includes Big Love, the HBO drama-via-Netflix about polygamy.

6. Work again. I’m trying to create a Web site for our organization, and while I like it the 5 percent of the time that I actually get the html code right, the other 95 percent of the time leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth for all things web.

5. So I cook to relieve the bitter taste. With a husband and a kitchen, dinnertime is still fun and exciting. Before the kids and fatigue set in, I’m taking advantage of my desire to cook!

4. Not working out. Sitting around always seems to call for more of the same. Why excercise my blog muscles if my real muscles don’t get to?

3. Christmas preparation. We already have our decorations up, but finding and purchasing the perfect present for each of our family members is going to be a challenge.

2. Hanging out with the hubs. It’s so fun learning about each other and how to be married. I love living with my best friend!

And the No. 1 reason I haven’t blogged …

1. Knockin’ boots. We’ve been getting snow, so I go outside to enjoy the winter wonderland, and I come back in, taking great pains to knock the snow off the bottom. Why — what did you think that meant??

    from malia: haha… uh-huh :-)

from theo via malia: the answer to your html nightmares is drupal.org … download it, learn it and you’ll never have to code HTML again!

I made this site (www.adoptx.net) with it, and it only took about 3 or 4 8 hour days total.
